Puts a Smile On Your Face

My friend thinks that this is the most stupid thing in the world and that I'm an idiot. I think its sweet.

Stranger: WHAT IS LOVE?
You: LET
You: ME
You: TTELL YOU
You: love is that feeling you get
You: when your trying to fall asleep
You: but cant
You: because you get butterflies in your stomach
Stranger: nice
Stranger: :)
Stranger: have a good day
Your conversational partner has disconnected.

How Life Should Be Lived

I just finished watching this movie.
I think this is how life should be lived, and how love should be loved.

"It said that the world is broken into pieces and everyone has to find them and put them back together."
"Maybe we don't have to find it. Maybe we are the pieces."

"Look, other bands, they want to make it about sex or pain, but you know, The Beatles, they had it all figured out, okay? "I Want to Hold Your Hand." The first single. It's effing brilliant, right?... That's what everybody wants, Nicky. They don't want a twenty-four-hour hump sesh, they don't want to be married to you for a hundred years. They just want to hold your hand."

Smart Ad

I was in Harajuku, Tokyo during Spring Break, and I saw this ad. Its one of the best ads I've ever seen, really.

The ad shows a row of girls lined up for eye examinations. All the other plain girls look normal and boring. But the one with the crazy ass hair is the only one pointing in the other direction. The caption says "you have a good eye for fashion."

Oh, and I have to add that Tokyo is one of the best places to shop ever.

Inspiration

I think people nowadays, should infact not dress down. But dress up. Our parents, growing up in the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, even the 90's got to experience a musical, teenage, art revolution. With each era's unique style and music, our parents lived through a period of time which through each decade, had its own voice. However, looking at ourselves, will we be able to look back and say we had our own special experience? Dress up! Be different! Inspire the next generation. Stop moving backwards. Create a new generation.

Photos: Lady gaga starting something different, and a fashion squad dressed in all black (I love this photo, they remind me of power rangers). Oh, and the picture of the people dressed in black is a REAL photo! Meaning, taken on the street. Meaning people actually do dress like that. Awsome.
